General conditions

Bed & Breakfast “Lokaal Wadway” uses the following terms and conditions. These are in force from the moment of reservation until the stay in our B&B.

1. General
– General Terms and Conditions apply to all users of Bed & Breakfast “Lokaal Wadway”, Wadway 31, 1715GX Spanbroek.
– With the conclusion of a rental agreement, these General Terms and Conditions are provided to the users free of charge.
– Tenants must have a permanent place of residence or domicile.
– The owner is not liable for damage, loss or theft of property of the users. In case of disputes, all (legal) costs shall be borne by the users.
– All risks related to a stay at Bed & Breakfast “Local Wadway” are the responsibility of the users.
– Damage and loss of owner’s movable and immovable property shall be reported by users immediately and reimbursed to the owner.
– Guests must follow instructions from the owner.
– In case of violation of these Terms and Conditions and inappropriate behavior, the owner may deny and/or refuse guests access to Bed & Breakfast “Lokaal Wadway” with immediate effect, without further notice and justification and without refund of accommodation fees.
– The owner’s records will be decisive in case of mutual disagreement unless the users can prove otherwise.
– Guests of Bed & Breakfast “Lokaal Wadway” must abide by the following Household Regulations
– Nicoline de Groot is the Owner and Administrator of Bed & Breakfast “Lokaal Wadway”, hereafter referred to predominantly as Owner. The Owner may be substituted.

2. Reservation and confirmation
– There are no additional charges for reserving a stay at Bed & Breakfast “Lokaal Wadway”.
– The rental agreement can be made verbally, by telephone, in writing, by e-mail or via bedandbreakfast.co.uk.
– Upon receipt of your reservation request, Bed & Breakfast “Lokaal Wadway” will send a confirmation (if space is available) and you will have an option on the reservation. After payment, the reservation becomes final.

3. Payment individuals
– The cost of stay in Bed & Breakfast “Lokaal Wadway” must be paid in advance. It is not possible to pay them at the end of the stay. Any consumptions can be paid afterwards by pin or cash.
– The owner may deviate from these conditions in consultation with the user.

4. Payment Business
– The accommodation costs in B&B “Lokaal Wadway” must be paid upon arrival, cash, by pin/credit card. In consultation it is possible to pay by invoice. These invoices must be paid within 14 days. For business accommodation we are obliged to charge 9% VAT. As a business guest we will always provide you with an invoice.

5. Cancellation and no show (failure to arrive without cancellation)
– In the unlikely event that you are unable to fulfill the rental agreement entered into, you should report this to us as soon as possible so that we can still offer the resulting vacant date to third parties.
– In case of cancellation and no show, the contractor shall pay a fee to the owner.
– This fee consists of:
1. Up to two weeks before the start date, cancellation is free of charge.
2. Cancellation within 2 weeks before commencement date, 50% of the amount is due as compensation.
3. Cancellation within one week prior to commencement date, 75% of the amount is due as compensation.
4. In case of cancellation and no show on the day, 100% of the amount is due.
– The amount due under points 2,3 and 4 should be transferred to the bank account number: NL39INGB0104290226 in the name of B&B Lokaal Wadway. You will receive an invoice if necessary. This must be paid within 14 days.
– If a deposit has been paid by Contractor, it will be refunded proportionately to the above by Owner.

6. Key B&B
– As a guest you will receive a key to the B&B. You will hand it back upon departure. As a guest you are responsible for properly locking the entrance door of the B&B.
– Loss of the key will be at the expense of contracting party (25,- Euro) and will be paid by contracting party cash or by invoice at check-out.

By-laws

Arrival and Departure
– On the day of arrival, you can use your stay from 4 p.m.
– Check-in is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
– On the day of departure, the stay must be free at 11 a.m.
– Deviations from the above times can only be made by mutual agreement.
– No refunds will be made in the event of early departure.

The Kitchen
– You are not supposed to use our kitchen and or equipment, you may stay there to read, play a game or watch TV.

Breakfast
– Breakfast will be served between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. by arrangement.
– Exceptions to this will be by arrangement.

Your stay
– Noise, especially between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., should be avoided.
– Use by third parties of the residence is not allowed.
– Visitors may not stay overnight in the Bed & Breakfast without permission of the manager and without additional payment.
– Vehicles can be parked in the parking lots on the Bed & Breakfast’s own property.
– Garbage should be deposited in the trash can.
– Report the presence of suspicious persons to the owner immediately.
– Pets are not allowed in Bed & Breakfast “Local Wadway”.
– Smoking in Bed & Breakfast “Local Wadway is not allowed. We have a covered area for this outside, please ask your host about this.
– Any charging of your car is by arrangement.
